Following the success of Chai & Chat programs in Clyde North and Rowville, Aura Social Foundation is bringing the program to Clayton.

Clayton Chai & Chat is a welcoming community program created for Hindi- and Punjabi-speaking senior members of the community. It provides a relaxed space to come together, meet new people, share stories, enjoy a cup of chai and build meaningful social connections.

The program recognises that moving to a new country and growing older can sometimes bring changes in social connections, confidence and a sense of belonging. Chai & Chat creates an opportunity for seniors to reconnect with community, participate in activities and conversations, and feel valued and heard.

Each session combines conversation, connection, laughter and simple activities designed to encourage participation and social interaction. There is no pressure to speak, perform or know anyone beforehand — just come…
